• Samuel Van Ransbeeck, a composer and Digital Humanities researcher. 

• Boris Shershenkov is engineer and sound artist, media archaeologist and musical instrument designer.

The event is free, registration is necessary.

What we will discuss: 

• how sonification can be used to transform data into an aesthetic sonic experience, useful to communicate;
• how we make data audible. This opens ways to make data accessible to people in a sonic way, rather than visually and allows people to understand data in a new way.
